Great quality and value for money
Wednesday, 18 August 2021  |

Ideal for beginners and advanced crafters. Such great quality and value for money. Little mixed media projects that arenít too daunting and you can go along with the layout suggestions or just do your own thing. Fit together easily

Ideas for embellishments: metal/greyboard/mdf: cogs, butterflies, flowers, filigree pieces, watch faces, old jewellery, stars, all those bits you’ve been saving
Pre Class Prep - Put Modelling paste roughly on the heart(s), I've embedded a watch face in the big heart and taken it out for the paste to dry, We’ll be putting it back in once we've painted and crackled the heart
Glue the house together, then gesso the front in white and the back and sides with black (paint or gesso will do, just know that the front is going to have a lot of water washes so make sure its sealed.
I put a bead of liquid glass (glossy accents will do too) down the middle of the metal butterfly.
